The Argus/Cosina Still 1000. Quite possibly my favorite camera, this is the camera that started it all for me. My father's first 35mm camera that he had as a teen, then passed down to me where my addiction and subsequent obsession started. This camera is a merging of two legendary companies at the time. While it had it's day in the sun, it never took off fully as the Pentax K1000 because the dominating force on the marketplace with it's ruggedness, seemingly indestructible body with limited function, and overall better marketing plan through Sears and Roebuck. Still this Argus holds my heart. Some of my early flower work featured in our nature gallery was captured with it.
